RULES

Here at The Gate we have a few rules you gotta abide by if ya wanna stay with us.

1 -- LANGUAGE.

I know what your thinking kiddies, 'Oh no! Not another strict admin that hates cursing!' well that's just not the case. Here cursing is allowed- so long as you can control yourselves. I'll give you a few situations you can use bad words in;

Tanya sat on the edge of the Canal, gazing into the water thoughtfully. The distorted image of her face rippling. Suddenly movement happened under the surface of the glassy substance. In seemingly slow motion a hand tore up and out of the water and grabbed her foot. She yelped and scrambled back, clawing at the walkie-talkie on her hip, "Fuck! Fuck, boss, there are walkers in the canal!"

This on the other hand is an inappropriate use of foul language;

Random Person 1: Fuck your character, you should go die in a hole.
Random Person 2: Yeah, you're a fucking shithead.

Everyone clear on this? It's okay for your character to cuss, but you shouldn't be mean to your fellow RPer's. I won't tolerate that so if you do it you're automatically banned.

2 -- DO NOT SPAM.

This should be a fairly simple rule to follow. Don't spam up the role play boards, if you do I'm going to send a lightning strike down from heaven because I am Jupiter. Not really, but your posts should be at least 100 words long.

3 -- LISTENING.

Just like at school, work, or at home you have to listen to your superiors. That would be Jacky, Owen, and the Moderators -- both Global and regular. If you don't they can report you to the admins and we'll handle it personally.

4 -- CARRIERS.

If you are a carrier know this; you are shunned in normal society.

5 -- GODMODDING.

Just don't do it. You can't dodge every bullet, win every fight, or be superman. All fights are moderated by the staff to declare the winner, so don't worry about it.

6 -- JUMPING.

Don't location jump, role play in one thread, or if you get called to another just make sure that they were created at different times. You can't be in two places at once unless you have a twin or a clone, even then those are two different beings.

7 -- RATINGS.

Keep it PG-13, not everyone on here is 18+. We also don't want the site to be shut down.

8 -- CHARACTERS AND ACCOUNTS.

You can have an unlimited amount of characters, but you have to make individual accounts for each character. No exceptions.

9 -- ART.

You cannot steal other people's art. Give credit. If you found it on Google don't claim it as your own.

10 -- RESPECT.

Respect all members, carrier or not.

11 -- WORK ETHIC.

We expect everyone to pull their own weight. You ain't gonna sit around all day while we keep this place runnin'. All post must be at least 100 words long.
